THE BREAKFAST CLUB Criterion Collection Edition ($25.99)

One of the essential teen movies of all time, THE BREAKFAST CLUB comes to Criterion's exclusive line of releases complete with all new features including substantial deleted scenes that have not been seen on any digital release before. This is a must buy for any child of the 1980s and pretty much any film buff.

PHANTASM 5 Movie Collection ($15.49)

Many would argue that Don Coscarelli's franchise crapped out after the first sequel. While only completionists may truly appreciate this deluxe five film set, the beautiful packaging and artwork is enough to make any horror fan happy. If only it came with a replica sphere….well, one can only hope that will make it into the next package!

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND Deluxe 4K/Blu-ray Box Set ($40.99)

I am usually not a fan of box sets that employ lights and gimmicks, but this set for Steven Spielberg's masterpiece is just too damn cool to pass up. Clicking a button on the front plays the iconic notes from the film. There is a gorgeous book of photos and behind the scenes shots as well as all three versions of the movie.

LOGAN ($19.65)

Arguably one of the best comic book movies of all time, LOGAN took a cue from DEADPOOL and ratcheted up the violence and profanity to deliver the Wolverine we have all waited almost two decades to see. This release has been available for a long time but it is still absolutely a must own for any Marvel fan. Plus, the release comes with the badass black and white version of James Mangold's film which adds a nice noir element to Hugh Jackman's swan song.

Samurai Jack: The Complete Series ($74.28)

The recently revived animated series by Genndy Tartakovsky stoked fan fires for this awesome time travel/martial arts/action adventure series that defies categorization. Available in a nice set, the complete series includes the most recent final season of the show which wraps up Jack's epic quest. If you have never seen Samurai Jack, shame on you, but now you have a chance to enjoy all sixty-two episodes.

ALIEN: COVENANT ($16.99)

Ridley Scott's most recent addition to the ALIEN saga divided many fans much like PROMETHEUS did a few years ago. Still, COVENANT is a visually stunning film with a great turn by the always excellent Michael Fassbender and is worth a look on your home entertainment center. The special features are abundant and give insight into how this movie came together and how it fits into the franchise as a whole. Definitely a worthwhile disc for the horror and science fiction fans on your shopping list.

STRANGER THINGS: Season One Collector's DVD ($24.99)

Yeah, you could stream the show on Netflix or you could own your very own VHS box set. Unfortunately, there is no actuall tape in the set but the bare bones features are supplemented by a cool package and a mini poster. Available only at Target for a limited time, this is a great gift for fans of the series or those who don't have Netflix.

THE BIG SICK ($14.99)

The indie favorite is also one of the most heartwarming comedies in years. Written by Silicon Valley's Kumail Nanjiani and based on his own life, THE BIG SICK is a film that can be appreciated by virtually anyone. This should be required viewing for anyone with even an inkling of intolerance in their heart.

THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD ($24.99)

An underappreciated gem, this action comedy is crass, violent and all around fun. Ryan Reynolds holds his own opposite Samuel L. Jackson in a movie you definitely don't want to play in the background on Christmas Eve. Still, you can't go wrong with f-bombs and real bombs.

LA LA LAND ($19.99)

Last year's critical darling gets a 4K upgrade in this release that will surely be a welcome addition to anyone's library. The music still holds up and sounds even better in the premium formatting of UltraHD. Damien Chazelle is one of those filmmakers who will be required to be included in any collection so why not add LA LA LAND to yours today?

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Limited Edition Collection ($24.99)

Despite taking flack from critics and fans, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN films are still pretty fun. This new edition packs a ton of special features into a beautiful case that deserves a spot on your shelf next to your other Marvel favorites. Over ten hours of features are included plus rare archival featurettes not seen on any release to date.

JUMANJI 4K ($22.00)

Just in time for the big budget sequel/reboot coming this Christmas, here is a deluxe update of the Robin Williams classic. The box art alone is worth the price of a new edition of this movie. JUMANJI looks better than ever in 4K and shows just how ahead of it's time all of the special effects in the movie actually are.

MEN IN BLACK 20th Anniversary Trilogy Set ($39.99)

Barry Sonnenfeld's trilogy of scifi comedies are still a lot of fun to watch. It is hard to believe that the first Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones partnering happened twenty years ago. This deluxe set is perfect for fans of the series and anyone who appreciates big budget filmmaking. Definitely a nice looking box that comes with repackaged editions of all three films.

SPIDER-MAN Trilogy Limited Collector's Edition ($29.99)

If you aren't a fan of the Andrew Garfield years, why not splurge on the limited edition of the Tobey Maguire era? You may already have multiple versions of Sam Raimi's trilogy, but this new set is available in 4K which features the most vibrant visuals possible and evokes what the comic book movie should have always looked like. New special features abound in this awesome package.

Twin Peaks: The Limited Event Series ($55.92)

If you don't have Showtime but have been dying to watch the new chapter in David Lynch's iconic and bizarre television series, now you can enjoy the entire limited event in one sitting. In a package reminiscent of the first seasons, this new box has every episode plus a ton of features that will keep you questioning who killed Laura Palmer for years to come.

DUNKIRK ($24.99)

Christopher Nolan's latest masterpiece debuts just in time for Christmas shopping. This film of redemption and sacrifice is an absolutely stunning achievement that ranks as one of Nolan's best. Special features have not yet been revealed for this set but if past Nolan releases are any indication, it will be worth every penny.

Game of Thrones: The Complete Seasons 1-7 ($139.99)

If you are one of the few people who knows someone that has yet to watch any of Game of Thrones, this set is the latest repackaging that includes the just concluded seventh season of the show. Every year, HBO manages to release a nicer box than the year before and this is no exception. And at less than $150, it is worth the price to get this deluxe set.

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE Premium Edition ($25.86)

In honor of the second film, this is a new deluxe edition of the first KINGSMAN film, remastered in 4K. With new special features and a sleek box, this is a great way to revisit Matthew Vaughn's action-packed spy flick. This set also comes with collectibe cards and a book of art from the film.

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE ($19.96)

While KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE may not have been as good as the original, it certainly was a lot of fun. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves in this action movie with a fair share of comedy. Enjoy meeting the US-based Statesman agency and Julianne Moore's insane villain, Poppy.

CHUCKY: Complete 7 Movie Collection ($44.96)

The CHILD'S PLAY series has always been too silly to be taken seriously and yet the last few films have been way better than most horror movies coming out these days. This complete set is packaged to look like a Good Guy box from the original film and has every film in the series, including the recent CULT OF CHUCKY.

THE PRINCESS BRIDE: 30th Anniversary Edition ($7.99)

Another movie everyone owns two or three versions of, this 30th Anniversary Edition makes a great stocking stuffer for movie fans or that young up and coming film buff who has never seen Rob Reiner's classic fantasy. At less than ten bucks, this is the perfect present for Secret Santa!

BRIGSBY BEAR ($17.99)

An indie darling that is sure to make it onto countless lists at the end of this year, BRIGSBY BEAR features Mark Hamill alongside SNL's Kyle Mooney in a touching film that balances a thin line between bizarre and heartwarming. Check this one out and I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

MOTHER! ($19.99)

Darren Aronofsky's controversial horror film divided audiences when it hit theaters a few months ago. Why not freak the hell out of everyone you know by giving it to them as a holiday gift? MOTHER! is a cult classic that will have a long life outside of theaters. It may not be easy watching, but it definitely will open your eyes to a unique take on an eerily familiar story.

The Walking Dead: Season 7 Gift Set ($174.99)

AMC's zombie series always delivers an elaborate box set for each season and the seventh is no exception. Featuring the spiked walker that Rick had to battle towards the end of the season, this box has a ton of special features that make up for the uneven pacing of the episodes themselves. For completionists and those who will proudly display a spiked zombie on their shelves at home.

SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE Extended Cut/Special Edition ($17.99)

With JUSTICE LEAGUE bringing Supes back to the big screen, I cannot help but always return to Richard Donner's original film. While the effects are incredibly dated, the sentiment and style of the film has never been fresher. Still one of the best comic book movies of all time, this set features two versions of the film including the hard to find three hour cut shown on network television. Definitely a must have for the DC fan in your life.

Firefly: Complete Series 15th Anniversary Edition ($19.96)

It is hard to believe that Joss Whedon's short-lived series debuted fifteen years ago. This latest version of the complete series is collected in a really cool packaging that evokes the Future Western style of the show. At less than twenty bucks, this is a nice purchase for non-fans who may be looking for something new to feast their eyes on.

PLANET OF THE APES Trilogy ($29.99)

If WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES is the last entry in the rebooted APES franchise, it is one hell of a way to go out. An amazing film that deserves to be recognized this Oscar season, WAR is included in this package alongside the two other films in the saga of Caesar and his tribe as they fight for their right to exist. Matt Reeves is a damn genius and this is a great way to bring home all three movies.

BABY DRIVER ($19.96)

Edgar Wright's hit is one of the few movies that came out this summer that is not a superhero movie or a sequel. A brilliant musical-thriller, BABY DRIVER is so good, there are no words that do it justice. This is a movie you just have to watch and then watch again before you watch it again and again and again. Such a great film.

HARRY POTTER 8 Film 4K Collection ($149.99)

Another series that has been released ad nauseum, this newest version of the fantasy franchise is upgraded to 4k. The box may not be quite as extensive as other Blu-ray and DVD versions, but the quality of the film transfer and the special features make this worth the price.

Westworld: Season One ($32.99)

HBO is taking a long time to make sure that the sophomore run of their successor to Game of Thrones is as good as possible. In the meantime, revisit the intricate mase that was Season One and try to unpack all of the secrets hidden in every chapter by Jonathan Nolan. A great show that was well worth the wait, this set is a must own.

Game of Thrones Season 7 – Conquest and Rebellion ($39.99)

If you already have the first six seasons of the series, getting the most recent run may be all you need. This set includes the complete seventh season as well as the animated Conquest and Rebellion which recounts the extensive history of the Seven Kingdoms. A cool pairing that comes in at a very low price.

ATOMIC BLONDE ($19.99)

David Leitch's retro action film is an absolute stunner. It is not without it's flaws, but the soundtrack and the epic fight scenes make this movie one that I can rewatch countless times. There are some cool features on this release but nothing can beat the tunes pumping through your sound system. Plus, Charlize Theron has never looked sexier.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING ($19.47)

For all intents and purposes, this is the best SPIDER-MAN film to date. The John Hughes meets the MCU vibe is spot on and Tom Holland is perfectly cast as a young Peter Parker trying to make his way as a teen and as a superhero. Tons of special features on this set that is as rewatchable as anything on this list.

WONDER WOMAN ($20.09)

The biggest superhero origin film in box office history, WONDER WOMAN is a must own for any comic book fan, action fan, or movie fan. Gal Gadot has become an instant icon thanks to Patty Jenkins' blend of drama, comedy and fight scenes that introduces the world to the long overdue big screen superheroine. Comic books movies will never be the same now that this film has been released and we will see a lot more movies like it.
