Latest DC/Looney Tunes crossover comic event offers inspired character duos

Get ready to see some of the most influential characters in pop culture collide when the latest round of crossovers between DC Comics and Looney Tunes hit the stands. The last time that DC paired their iconic characters with the cast of Warner Bros. Merry Melodies, Batman met Elmer Fudd, Wonder Woman encountered the Tazmanian Devil, and Martian Manhunter interacted with Marvin the Martian. At the time of their release, the special crossover event issues were declared a major success, with fans being quick to ask the publisher for more wild and wacky mash-up stories.

Now, DC heroes and villains alike will come face-to-face with some of the most recognizable characters in the Looney Tunes pantheon. Beginning on August 29, the event will pair The Joker with Daffy Duck, Lex Luthor with Porky Pig, Catwoman with Sylvester and Tweety, and Harley Quinn with the misunderstood monster, Gossamer. Each one-shot will consist of 48 pages, and will include a back-up story presented by some of DC's finest creators. Leading the pack for each of the featured stories are creators such as: Gail Simone, Scott Lobdell, Inaki Miranda, Jimmy Palmiotti, Amada Connor, Pier Brito, Brett Booth, Norm Rapmund, Mark Russell, Brad Walker, Andrew Hennessy, and many more!

CATWOMAN/TWEETY AND SYLVESTER SPECIAL #1
