David O. Russell‘s next has been floating around for awhile now, so I feel like it should have a proper title. Unfortunately, it seems that AMERICAN BULLSHIT is not going to cut it.
The director already has an amazing cast in place with Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper on board. How do we take this from a 10 to an 11? Add Louis C.K. The comedian is currently in talks for a role. He recently wrapped on Woody Allen‘s next, BLUE JASMINE.
The film centers on, “con artist Mel Weinberg who worked with the FBI in a far-reaching corruption case that stretched from Atlantic City to Washington, D.C. The Louie actor will play an FBI agent.”
The most recent season of LOUIE ended up being something quite special. The road that we are used to seeing Louie on went in strange and wonderful directions. At times they were also so drastic, but you never questioned it because it played out so well. I wonder how next season is going to go, especially since we were left somewhere very different. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess. All I know is the more Louie, the better.
Production is set to begin next month.
