Principal photography began today in London on Bryan Cranston's latest vehicle, THE INFILTRATOR. Directed by Brad Furman (RUNNER RUNNER, THE LINCOLN LAWYER), the story follows that of Robert Mazur AKA Robert Musella, an undercover agent who infiltrated the globe’s largest cartels and discovered just how deep into society their influence extended. Cranston is not alone, however, as he'll be joined by Diane Kruger, John Leguizamo, Benjamin Bratt, and Olympia Dukakis, among others. You can check out the first pick of Cranston and Kruger in character below.

Bryan Cranston is one of those actors who will forever be followed throughout the rest of his career.  While it's arguable that nothing has come close to his Breaking Bad counterpart (stage work aside), THE INFILTRATOR looks to give Cranston a role he can sink his teeth into. Spending time with the criminal element is something he has a real knack for, so I can't imagine THE INFLTRATOR being any less than fascinating with him in the spotlight.

THE INFILTRATOR will most likely be released sometime in 2016.

Cranston is ripe for an R-rated comedy!
