There’s this movie coming out, right? It’s called THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS.  Shit looks off the kung-fu hook.  It’s got Russell Crowe, it’s got RZA, it’s got this gold Colossus dude, it’s got violence and sex and blood and more blood and heads exploding and shit.  It’s got everything a kung-fu loving brother with funk in his veins could want.

So here’s some posters.  Here’s sixteen posters, if I was going to be precise. And here’s the kicker: every poster that you see below “will be available for fans to tear off and take home from outdoor locations throughout in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia.”  Now that’s some cool marketing shit right there, you know what I’m sayin?

And if you like what The RZA is laying down with this flick, then you may want to check his next directing gig too.  He’s getting with comic book writer Grant Morrison, adapting the guy’s new comic HAPPY! for the silver screen.  “Meet Nick Sax,” the description goes (according to publishing house Image Comics), “a corrupt, intoxicated ex-cop turned hit-man, adrift in a stinking twilight world of casual murder, soulless sex, eczema and betrayal. With a hit gone wrong, a bullet in his side, the cops and the mob on his tail, and a monstrous child killer in a Santa suit on the loose, Nick and his world will be changed forever this Christmas. By a tiny blue horse called Happy.”

People who’ve read the comic already say its a bit like SIN CITY, a bit like CARE BEARS, a bit like IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, and a bit like crazy.  I say its a lot like exactly what I want to see.  Morrison’s writing the script, The RZA’s directing, and we’ll let you know more when we know it.  What about you? You down?
