The Strangers: Prey At Night trailer wants to make sure you’re never alone

Whoa! That trailer got my blood pumping! In THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT, a family staying in a secluded mobile home park for the night are visited by three masked psychopaths, to test their every limit. Directed by 47 METERS DOWN helmer Johannes Roberts, the new film serves as the sequel to the 2008 original, which was written and directed by Bryan Bertino. Starring Christina HendricksMartin HendersonBailee Madison and Lewis Pullman, THE STRANGER: PREY AT NIGHT is co-written by Bertino with the aid of Ben Katai.

From what I can gather, after watching the trailer, is that this long-gestating sequel hopes to take the frightening notion of a home invasion to new heights by placing the film's characters in a more disturbingly nsecluded setting. I don't typically get excited for too many horror films, these days, though I must admit that my interest is piqued with this one.

THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT will warn audiences, once again, to never underestimate the kindness of strangers, when the film releaes on March 9th.
