Dwayne Johnson reveals the release date for Rawson Thurber’s Red Notice

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

This afternoon, JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE and RAMPAGE star Dwayne Johnson revealed via his personal Instagram account that his upcoming film with director Rawson Marshall Thurber, RED NOTICE, will bow in theaters on June 12, 2020. In the action-thriller film, Johnson plays an Interpol agent tasked with capturing the most wanted art thief in the world.

For those of you keeping score at home, RED NOTICE will mark the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson after the duo teamed for CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE (2016) and the upcoming action blockbuster SKYSCRAPER.

As one of the busiest actors in Hollywood today, Dwayne Johnson has a number of projects either in-the-works or soon set for release. Some would say that it's quite remarkable how steadily the professional wrestler-turned-action superstar has climbed the Hollywood ladder in recent years. On-deck for Johnson is the FAST AND FURIOUS spinoff entitled HOBBS AND SHAW, in which Johnson reprises his powerhouse role as Luke Hobbs opposite Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, in addition to such planned projects as a sequel to JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, SAN ANDREAS 2, DOC SAVAGE, and several films featuring the DC Comics character Black Adam.

Do you smell what Dwayne Johnson is cooking? I sure as hell do, and it reeks of sweat, money, and a whole hell of a lot of hard work. RED NOTICE will arrive in theaters on June 12, 2020.
