New trailer for Curb Your Enthusiasm proves nothing has changed

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The last season of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM was in 2011, and since then people had accepted the show wasn’t going to come back for season nine. But after creator and star Larry David experienced a career surge after appearing as Bernie Sanders on SNL (then coming on to host), not to mention with CURB remaining as popular as ever, it became apparent a ninth season was necessary. After several teases, we have the full trailer featuring numerous glimpses at numerous arguments David will have with friends, family, and the occasional stranger. Nothing has changed for David, and we can thank our lucky stars for that.

We got a glimpse at some of the guest appearances this season, such as Bryan Cranston and Carrie Brownstein, and lord knows how long they'll be able to stand the antics of David. CURB has to be one of my favorite shows, so October 1 will practically be a holiday for me. I already know a few people with shrines of David in their homes, so we may as well make it a national day of observance.

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM returns on HBO on October 1.
