Besides being a fantastic actor, John Turturro is also a decent director. He hasn't helmed that many films (his last movie was 2010's PASSIONE), but he's got a solid cast for his latest project, FADING GIGOLO. Turturro wrote the script and is also the lead in the film alongside Woody Allen. The film is about two friends that get into the gigolo business: one as the manger/pimp (Allen) and the other as the gigolo (Turturro).
FADING GIGOLO cast also includes Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara, and you can check out the new trailer below, as well as the poster that some might consider NSFW. It feels slightly like a Woody Allen film, but that's probably because Allen is in the flick and normally only appears in movies he's also directing. FADING GIGOLO isn't a movie that's going to change the world, but it does look like it could be pretty funny in a dry, chuckle occasionally kind of way, which I have no problem with.
There is one thing that bugs me about the trailer though: would someone really have to pay you to have a threesome with Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara? I know Stone is getting up there in age, but still.

Synopsis:
Fioravante decides to become a professional Don Juan as a way of making money to help his cash-strapped friend, Murray. With Murray acting as his "manager", the duo quickly finds themselves caught up in the crosscurrents of love and money.
FADING GIGOLO should be out sometime this year.
