Relativity Media’s The Crow reboot will reportedly start production in March

It certainly seemed liked Relativity Media's THE CROW reboot was dead (or, at the very least, on life support), with pre-production on the planned film being stalled due to the studio's bankruptcy filling, and in September, it was reported that the project was in danger of losing its director, THE HALLOW filmmaker Corin Hardy.

But according to The Wrap, Hardy has signed a holding deal with Relativity, and the plan is to start shooting in March of next year. The long-gestating reboot, which apparently is now Relativity's top priority, will be the company's first post-bankruptcy production.

Relativity still needs to find someone to play Eric Draven though. Jack Huston, the most recent actor attached to the role, had to leave the film in June because of scheduling issues, and it's also not clear if Forest Whitaker, Andrea Riseborough and Jessica Brown Findlay are still in the mix to star in the project. But if Relativity has gotten their shit together and is looking to begin production in March, casting announcements will likely be made in the next few months. I know we've played this game several times now, but who would you like to see star as Draven in THE CROW reboot?
