This week will see the debut of tons of new trailers for highly-anticipated movies as Comic-Con kicks off, with M. Night Shyamalan’s GLASS being a big-ticket item. Now you won't have to wait so long to have your GLASS itch scratched as a new teaser for the movie has dropped before the big trailer, showing off some scenes of Kevin Wendell Crumb’s (James McAvoy) multiple personalities coming back into the light. Oh, Hedwig, how we have missed you.
The movie will see the return of Crumb since we saw him in SPLIT, this time alongside Bruce Willis’ David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price. Dunn will apparently be on the hunt for Crumb’s superhuman personality The Beast, resulting in a series of encounters, with Price having a crucial role to play in their battle.
The teaser doesn’t offer any amazing looks at the movie and is a true definition of the word “tease.” We get a few glimpses and bits of dialogue, but I can’t imagine we will get any good details until this week’s trailer. On the bright side, this tease means we may get Willis and Jackson-themed spots soon too, all leading up to the full trailer.
GLASS is in theaters January 18, 2019.
