Norman Reedus talks The Walking Dead, Silent Hills and the perfect Christmas

Good news for you Walking Dead and BOONDOCK SAINTS fans, as the lovable, hug-able Norman Reedus took some time out of his holiday schedule to hit up Reddit to answer some of your burning questions.  As if you all didn't know, Norman Reedus plays the enigmatic Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead and now he'll play the apple of your eye as you read some of his enjoyable answers to fans most popular questions. You can check out the whole AMA here but I've included some of the juicier tidbits below.

If Norman Reedus uses his crossbow much outside of the show:

Very little really. I have a compound bow in Georgia I play with quite a bit. There are arrows stuck in all the trees in my backyard.

If he's finished his work on Silent Hills and who approached him first:

I'm super excited to be a part of that. Both those guys are geniuses at what they do. We haven't shot the heavy stuff yet. [Hideo] Kojima approached me right after Guillermo [del Toro] did.

Regarding the perfect way to spend the holidays and his favorite Christmas movie:

Hmmm let me think…Movie marathon in bed with a mountain of chocolate in a panda bear onesie. Jaws.

On the status of BOONDOCK SAINTS 3:

Yeah, it's on. In the works, happening. Sean [Patrick Flannery] would be great on the show – he's a real life ninja.

If audiences can expect more crazy shit to go down in Season 5 of The Walking Dead:

Well duh. There's some crazy stuff coming. Like crazy crazy. Like…like…like 44 crazies.

For me, Norman Reedus was definitely one of the more enjoyable AMAs to read, as he keeps his answers short and entertaining. I can't say I'm a huge fan of THE BOONDOCK SAINTS, but the man has helped to build one of the most interesting characters on The Walking Dead. I'd say that Daryl is safe from a Walker's end for the time being, so I look forward to seeing where the writers will take his character in the future. I'm also ridiculously hyped for his re-teaming with Guillermo del Toro (BLADE 2) on the upcoming Silent Hills video game. Seriously, if any of you Playstation 4 owners haven't given the P.T. demo a shot, feel free to check it out and lose some sleep.

The Walking Dead will resume Season 5 on February 8, 2015.
