3 new Inhumans character posters arrive to introduce the royal family

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Ahead of this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has unveiled three new character posters for the comic studio's forthcoming INHUMANS series featuring members of the royal family: Medusa (Serinda Swan), Black Bolt (Anson Mount), and Maximus (Iwan Rheon).

Marvel's INHUMANS will first be presented to fans by way of special screenings to be held exclusively in IMAX theaters across the globe. Beginning on September 1st, an IMAX–specific cut of the show's first two episodes will play on IMAX brand screens for a total of two weeks. Shortly therafter, the program is set to make its ABC debut on Friday, September 29th (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). Following the premiere, the remainder of the season will air throughout ABC's fall season.

You can steal a glance at the posters below:

The story of Marvel's INHUMANS picks up after the royal family is splintered by a military coup. During the commotion, the group barely escapes to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself. The new show will star Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, and Ellen Woglom.

We're getting close to game time with this one, folks. How are you feeling about Marvel's INHUMANS based on the trailer and promotional materials that've been released thus far? I'm sure that Marvel has plenty of tricks up their sleeve for this one, and will be putting plenty of polish on INHUMANS before the event invades IMAX theaters on September 1st! I'll definitely be there, and can't wait to see Lockjaw up on the big screen!
