As you may have heard by now, Netflix is bringing us more Wet Hot American Summer in the form of an 8-part series that sees the return of the entire original cast. I’ll save you the laundry list, but it includes the likes of Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper and everyone else on the planet. Looks like showrunners Michael Showalter and David Wain are looking to add a few more names to the list! Word is that Kristen Wiig, Jason Schwartzman, Chris Pine and Jon Hamm are on-board in recurring roles as well!

According to Deadline, Hamm will play a secret spy, Wiig is playing a snobby counselor at a preppy rival camp, and Pine’s character is described as mysterious. With a cast this big, I’m sure they could be playing any parts and folks are still going to tune it. I really dug David Wain‘s latest effort, THEY CAME TOGETHER, so I have all the faith in the world that this prequel/sequel endeavor is going to yield some great results.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp is looking to debut later this year.
