A wise man once said "Mo money Mo problems." In my humble opinion, truer words have never been spoken when considering the trailer for WHITE BOY RICK from Columbia Pictures. In the Yann Demange-directed crime drama, a young man named Richard Wershe Jr. becomes an undercover informant for the FBI during the 1980s. After becoming a notorious criminal in his own right, Wershe was arrested for drug-tafficking and sentenced to life in prison.

Based on true events, WHITE BOY RICK is written by Andy Weiss (MIDDLE MEN) and Logan Miller (SWEETWATER), Noah Miller (TOUCHING HOME), and Steve Kloves (WONDER BOYS). The feature stars Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Eddie Marsan, Rory Cochrane, Brian Tyree Henry, Bruce Dern, Bel Powley, Piper Laurie, RJ Cyler, Jonathan Majors and Taylor Paige.

The street-to-elite gangster drama will tell the story of one of history's youngest hustlers beginning on September 21st.
