Jeff Bridges Taylor Kitsch Joseph Kosinski No Exit

Now that the sequel to TRON: LEGACY seems unlikely to ever see the light of day, I suppose we'll have to look elsewhere for our Joseph Kosinski/Jeff Bridges team-up fix. That reunion looks like it will be arriving sooner than we expected with the news that Jeff Bridges has joined the ensemble cast for Kosinski's NO EXIT, a firefighter film focusing on true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Variety reports that Jeff Bridges and Taylor Kitsch has joined the film, rounding out an ensemble which already includes Josh Brolin, Miles Teller and James Badge Dale. The Granite Mountain Hotshots were a group of firefighters who faced one of the deadliest wildfires in history in order to save the small town of Yarnell in Arizona. The wildfire would go on to cover over eight thousand acres, destroy over one hundred buildings and tragically claim the lives of nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. Jeff Nolan (BLACK HAWK DOWN) developed the script for the project but at the moment there's no indication on when production might begin. It feels like it's been a long time since our last solid film focusing on firefighters, but the cast of NO EXIT certainly has potential to make this one to remember.

Jeff Bridges will next be seen on August 12, 2016 in HELL OR HIGH WATER alongside Chris Pine and Ben Foster.
