Ashton Kutcher’s biopic, jOBS, gets a release date and a clip

Last Updated on September 22, 2021

Since he was announced as the star of JOBS, I was laughing at the casting of Ashton Kutcher as the revered Apple founder. Even though the images of Kutcher in character were strikingly similar to his real life counterpart, I still could not get past the fact this was the guy from DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR?.

Now that the film has premiered at Sundance and has picked up distribution (Open Road will release it in April), we are now getting our first look at a scene from the flick.

In this scene, Steve Jobs confronts Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad) about the idea of computers available to the masses. In just this brief scene, I regained a little faith in this project. While Gad’s wig is awful, Kutcher is not nearly as bad as I was expecting. This may just end up being a decent movie.

JOBS also stars Dermott Mulroney, Matthew Modine, J.K. Simmons, and Lukas Haas.
