Andy Allo, protege to legendary rock icon, Prince, joins Pitch Perfect 3

Fun Fact: When I was little I used to perform to the music of Prince while atop a stage in a pub called Decks located in Rocky Point, New York. It was nothing untoward, I assure you. In fact, I used to bust out some pretty fancy footwork to “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Party Man”, and “Kiss”. Today, it was announced that Prince protégé, Andy Allo, will be giving The Bellas a run for their money as a rival singer in the upcoming film PITCH PERFECT 3.

Before the legendary rock icon passed away on April 21, 2016, Prince worked beside Allo during the creative process for her second album Superconductor. Now, as she steps into the role of Charity, a vocalist for the musical group Dew, Allo will have yet another opportunity to share her talent and show the world what she’s learned during her time as a part of Prince’s New Power Generation.

Directed by Trish Sie, Allo will star beside Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Hailee Steinfeld and Ruby Rose in the upcoming musical comedy set for a December 22, 2017 release.
