New clips and making-of featurette for Brad Pitt’s Killing Them Softly

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

KILLING THEM SOFTLY, the new crime pic from Brad Pitt, is headed to theaters this week and today we have two clips and a making-of featurette to warm you up.  The clip is an exchange between Pitt and James Gandolfini, while the featurette covers the gamet of themes, actors, and director Andrew Dominik’s “auteur” style.  I’m looking forward to KILLING THEM SOFTLY, moreso than many other winter releases, mostly because it’s so different from the holiday fare.  Plus, it’s been a minute since we’ve seen Pitt onscreen and the guy brings his A-game to everything he does.

I tend to agree with the comments in the featurette about Pitt’s acting and it makes me wish he’d get more work out.  As great as he is, I don’t think we’ve seen his best yet, which is really saying something, because he’s already a tremendous performer.

Here’s the first clip:

And, here’s the second:

Here’s the featurette:

KILLING THEM SOFTLY is slated to open on November 30, 2012.
