Black Panther & Ava DuVernay among winners of the 2018 BET Awards

Los Angeles was the place to be this past Sunday, as both LA Pride and the 2018 BET Awards were in full-swing! In addition to many people taking to the streets in celebration and support of the LGBTQA+ community, a who's who among entertainers gathered for the annual show that honors some of the year's best in movies, music and sports. Among the many winners, Marvel and Ryan Coogler's BLACK PANTHER won the award for Best Movie, while Ava DuVernay took home the award for Video Director of the Year for Jay-Z's "Famly Feud". Meanwhile, Tiffany Haddish and Chadwick Boseman were crowned best actress and actor, respectively.
