Jessica Jones Season 2 hits hard with A Look Behind the Lens featurette

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

If you're one of the many Marvel fans who's excited for the super-powered private investigator, Jessica Jones, to make her return to Netflix, you're definitely going to want to check out this Behind the Lens featurette.

As the video plays on, stars Krysten Ritter, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, and showrunner Melissa Rosenberg take you behind the cameras for brief, hard-hitting look at what to expect when Marvel's moody badass embarks on a deeply personal investigative journey into the organization that granted her powers, and in turn made her life a living hell.

For the sophomore season of JESSICA JONES, we find Jessica struggling to put her life back together after word of her killing The Purple Man (David Tennant) reaches the inner-city streets. After she reluctantly accepts a new and shady case, Jessica finds herself unraveling the mysteries of her own past, while placing her closest friends in the crosshairs of some very dangerous people in the process.

On a more personal note, I've been fortunate enough to see the first five episodes of the new season, and as a major Jessica Jones fan, I can tell you that this season packs a punch right from the start. Things are much more personal this time around, as Jessica searches for the twisted individuals who violated her at an early age. Several of the first season's secondary characters play a larger role this time around as well, which is great news for all of you Patsy Walker and Malcolm, and Hogarth enthusiasts. If you enjoyed the first season of the show, I've no doubt that you'll dig this one as well. Enjoy.

JESSICA JONES Season 2 will make its Netflix debut on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2018.
