New trailer for Last Vegas starring Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline, and Morgan Freeman

Well, they may not like being compared to THE HANGOVER, but I don’t think that’s such a terrible thing for LAST VEGAS, which features old-school stars Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Kevin Kline, and Morgan Freeman as four best friends who head to Sin City for a bachelor party that brings out more than they bargained for. In fact, it may work in their favor as the high concept geriatric version of the popular franchise, so why not? With that, we have a new trailer to share, which shows the foursome taking on Vegas with all their old man idionsyncracies.

Take a look:

Here’s the synopsis:

Starring four legends like you’ve never seen them before, LAST VEGAS tells the story of Billy, Paddy, Archie and Sam (played by Academy-Award winners Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline), best friends since childhood. When Billy, the group’s sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. However, upon arriving, the four quickly realize that the decades have transformed Sin City and tested their friendship in ways they never imagined.  The Rat Pack may have once played the Sands and Cirque du Soleil may now rule the Strip, but it’s these four who are taking over Vegas.

The pic comes from director Jon Turteltaub who is perhaps best known for the Nicolas Cage starring NATIONAL TREASURE films as well as John Travolta‘s PHENOMENON, so he’s certainly a director that can handle this cast and hopefully deliver something that doesn’t feel like an awkward family gathering at grandpa’s house. We’ll save that for BAD GRANDPA.

LAST VEGAS hits the strip on November 1, 2013.
