Last month Sylvester Stallone confirmed that he was starting to get back in shape for his reprisal of action favorite John Rambo. Ever since Stallone’s unflinchingly violent return to form in RAMBO, there’s been a slew of plot lines rumored for the next film. Now, according to a reader over at Coming Soon, the film will be titled RAMBO: LAST BLOOD and that Stallone will be back in the director’s chair. Still no word on what the “official” story may be.
LAST BLOOD is a bit of an easy title to come up with, but they can call it THERE WILL BE THE FIRST, LAST AND ONLY BLOOD and I’ll still be first in line to see it. If Stallone is smart (which he is), he’ll keep this new Rambo in the R-rating territory and give fans that were disappointed with the EXPENDABLES series what they’re hungry for. If Stallone is getting back into shape, hopefully we’ll here some announcements soon from the studio on the direction they’re taking this.
