The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

There are movies and there are events. The movie we are going to chat about this Sunday definitely qualifies as an event. I know I’m not alone in my excitement for this weekend’s big release. This week, we are going to return to Middle-Earth and chat about The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey!

For the past year, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve chatted about many awesome flicks such as The Lord of The Rings trilogy, the Jurassic Park trilogy, The Matrix, and Jaws. It’s a great chance to talk about the movies we all love with your fellow schmoes. Opinions will be shared. Thoughts will be provoked. Plenty of laughs will be had by all!

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone will not be put up with.

The chats for the Lord of the Rings movies were some of the greatest nights in The JoBlo Sunday Night Chat history, so I am expecting a hell of a night on Sunday. Like many of the schmoes that visit this site, I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan. The previous trilogy absorbed me like few other movies ever have. From the characters to the world of Middle-Earth and everything in between, I can’t think of anything I don’t love about these movies. Finally being able to return to the world with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has been a long time coming. The wait has been nearly unbearable. Fortunately, the wait to discuss this movie without worrying about spoiling it for anyone is much easier to bear.
