The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: Shoot ‘Em Up

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last week’s The Walking Dead chat was a fantastic time, but it’s time to return to movies. It took me awhile to settle on this week’s movie. But I think I came up with something great. This week we aren’t going to discuss an award winning, mind provoking film. Instead, we will be chatting about something silly, crazy, and full of over the top set pieces. I think this will be one of the most fun chats yet! This week’s movie is none other than Shoot ‘Em Up!

For the past year, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve chatted about many awesome flicks such as Die Hard, Terminator 2, and both Expendables movies. It’s a great chance to talk about the movies we all love with your fellow schmoes. Opinions will be shared. Thoughts will be provoked. Plenty of laughs will be had by all!

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username and password. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone and/or trolling people will not be put up with.

This movie is just pure fun. The sheer amount of gun play in it rivals anything John Woo has ever released. It’s nothing but high octane insanity! Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti are fantastic in this and Monica Belucci is nothing short of gorgeous. If you appreciate movies that just ask you to go along with the ride, then this is the movie for you. So join us this Sunday at 7pm EST to chat about craziness that is Shoot ‘Em Up!
