SAMURAI COP is one of the premiere bad movies, up there with THE ROOM, BIRDEMIC, and FATEFUL FINDINGS. It's nonsensical (what was up with that nurse scene?), ridiculous (why call your movie SAMURAI COP when the cop barely does samurai things?), and shoddy (notice how the main character's hair goes from real to a wig in-between scenes). It's abysmal, but still fun to watch. It's why I'm super excited to see it be eviscorated by the Rifftrax crew!
Hosted by Fathom Events, Rifftrax – starring MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 alumni Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett – will be holding a live riffing of SAMURAI COP April 13th and April 18th in select theaters. I can't wait!
