Mary Poppins arrives from the heavens in Mary Poppins Returns trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Anyone who watched the Oscars last night got a glimpse of the upcoming Disney live-action movie, MARY POPPINS RETURNS, starring Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more. Now the longer teaser trailer is online, and in this one, you get a much better look at Blunt’s Mary Poppins, who is getting a good look at herself in the mirror. Ben Whishaw’s Michael Banks says what we’re all thinking with, “It’s wonderful to see you!” Then, Ms. Poppins cheekily responds with “Yes, it is, isn’t it?” Oh, Mary Poppins, how we have indeed missed you.

The movie is set several years after the events of the first movie, and now the young Banks children are grown up and have children of their own. After Michael (Whishaw) suffers a heavy loss, Mary Poppins (Blunt) returns (get it!) to help set his life straight again, and all with the help of lamplighter Jack (Miranda).

And check out the new poster! It's a magical time, isn't it?

Mary Poppins returns to theaters this Christmas!
