New Proud Mary poster features a hair-raisingly cool collage

Screen Gems has released one hell of a cool, new poster for their upcoming action thriller PROUD MARY, starring Taraji P. Henson. Arriving in three different colors, the poster art features Mary sporting a collage of characters, weapons, and automobiles around her head that together make for the deadliest afro I've ever seen.

You can check out all three of the new and kick-ass posters below:

Directed by Babak Najafi (LONDON HAS FALLEN) from a script penned by John Stuart Newman, Christian Swegal and Steven Antin, PROUD MARY stars Taraji P. Henson, Billy Brown, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Neal McDonough, Margaret Avery, Xander Berkeley and Danny Glover.  Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan will produce, while Taraji P. Henson and Glenn S. Gainor are executive producers and Andrea Ajemian is the project's co-producer.

In the film, Taraji P. Henson (HiIDDEN FIGURES) is Mary, a hit woman working for an organized crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes bad. Jahi Di’Allo Winston (EVERYTHING SUCKS!) is Danny, a streetwise kid unaware of what prompts Mary to come to his aid; Danny Glover (LETHAL WEAPON) plays Benny, Mary’s fatherly but brutally unforgiving boss; Billy Brown (HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER) is Tom, Benny’s son, a fellow professional who was once romantically involved with Mary; Neal McDonough (MINORITY REPORT) is a well-manicured killer primed to be sacrificed to maintain peace; Margaret Avery (BEING MARY JANE) is Benny’s wise, refined wife; and Xander Berkeley (GATTACA) is the drug-dealing sadist Mary eradicates, provoking an all-out turf war.

PROUD MARY will arrive in theaters with her head held high and looking for action beginning on January 12, 2018.
