New Dude trailer is like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on weed, man

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Life after high school can get pretty complicated. In most cases: Your friends move away to different schools, your parents expect you to "grow up over night," and suddenly your mailbox is filled with bills rather than the occassional birthday card or Lootbox subscription. In DUDE, four best friends navigate loss and major life changes – and smoke a lot of weed – during their last two weeks of high school. You can expect the party volume to be turned to eleven, as each of the ladies plan to party until their very last drop, before the crushing reality of adulthood comes crashing down.

Directed and co-written by Olivia Milch (OCEAN'S 8) with Kendall McKinnon, DUDE stars Lucy Hale (SCREAM 4), Kathryn Prescott (SKINS), Alexandria Shipp (STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON), Brooke Smith (THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS), Claudia Doumit (TIMELESS), and Alex Wolff (JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE). The story of these four inseparable friends will arrive on Netflix come April 20th, just in time for … well, you know. Enjoy, folks!
