The new Ouija trailer is full of bad ideas and childhood memories

I will be the first to admit that when OUIJA was first announced, a movie based on the board game, I probably laughed pretty damn hard. We need another board game movie like we need another sparkly vampire. Now maybe I’m in need of a good scare this Halloween, but I have to say the latest trailer makes it look like it could be a fun time. There is definitely going to be some jumpy moments here which should remind many of us when we used to play with this thing once or twice before it hit the garage sale. My sister hated me for weeks, it was great.

Simply put:

A group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board.

Can’t they just stop playing? Why is it their responsibility to find out what’s going on? These answers (hopefully) to questions regarding plot holes will be answered on October 24, 2014 with the help of stars Olivia Cooke, Douglas Smith, and Bianca Santos.
