The first trailer has been released for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION, which yesterday we learned will be the final chapter in the horror series. The trailer promises every secret will be revealed in the franchise ending movie, and this time we will actually be able to see the activity, thanks to a special video camera. The camera footage parts of the film will be presented onscreen in 3D, a first for the franchise.

Although I didn't care for the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY sequels (or the spinoff), I'm actually kind of digging this first trailer. As expected, there are some jump scares, but the film looks like it could be a bit creepier compared to the previous sequels, and we'll also finally be able to get a good look at the demon Toby.

The upcoming movie will follow "a new family, the Fleeges — father Ryan (Chris J. Murray), mother Emily (Brit Shaw) and their young daughter Leila (Ivy George) — who move into a house and discover a video camera and a box of tapes in the garage. When they look through the camera's lens, they begin to see the paranormal activity happening around them — including the re-emergence of young Kristi and Katie."

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION will haunt theaters on October 23, 2015.
