Patrick Fugit will do anything for love in the trailer for Alex & The List

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

What's the craziest thing you've ever done in the hope of gaining someone's affection? Is there anything you wouldn't do to impress the one you desire most? What if that person crafted a list of ways with which they expected you to change yourself, and wouldn't commit until you complete every item they've written down? Would you make an effort to explore the list, or would you gather your self respect and look for love just about anywhere else? These are some of the questions that Patrick Fugit's Alex will have to ask himself, when the love of his life, Katherine (Jennifer Morrison), presents him with an itemized ultimatum for her love and attention in ALEX & THE LIST.

Directed and co-written by Harris Goldberg with Kristen D'Alessio, ALEX & THE LIST stars Patrick FugitJennifer Morrison (ONCE UPON A TIME), Karen Gillan (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE), Aaron Staton (MAD MEN), Eddie Kaye Thomas 9AMERICAN PIE) in a romantic comedy that tells the story of when Alex’s (Fugit) gorgeous girlfriend (Morrison) gives him a list of changes he must make to win her hand in marriage. With the opprotunity there in front of him, Alex must decide how to secure her love, complete the list and fend off a suave competitor.

Did you watch the trailer? Ten bucks says that Alex ends up falling in love with Karen Gillan's Lily by the third act of the movie. From there, Lily will grow to appreciate Alex's efforts in ways that Katherine is incapable of recognizing. The two of them will come together, albeit awkwardly, and move on from the list, as one. Now, this is just my prediction, but is the writing not on the wall. here?

Let us know what you think will be the outcome of ALEX & THE LIST in the comments section below, and don't forget to check out the movie when it arrives on May 4th in theaters as well as VOD and Digital HD services.
