Evangeline Lilly dons the Wasp helmet in new set pic

Come ANT-MAN AND THE WASP it will finally be time for Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne to suit up as The Wasp and beat up the bad guys in pea-sized form. Her counterpart – Scott Lang a.k.a Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) – has been rocking the red costume, but she’ll be kicking it in more chic and badass black duds that will sprout wings from the back. We saw her in costume not too long ago, and now it’s time for you to complete the image by taking a look at her fitted with her bodysuit and helmet.

The photos were taken while Lilly films the movie on the set in Atlanta, and though we have yet to see the wings burst from her back, we have a virtually complete look at Van Dyne as The Wasp. Lilly has also been bulking up to play the pint-sized hero and has some super guns to fit under her super suit, letting everyone know she’s more than ready to team up with the Ant-Man.

Of course having similarities to Ant-Man’s costumes, including the mouthpiece and antenna’s, Wasp’s costume does look a bit newer and sleeker, almost giving off a ninja vibe. She looks great in costume, and I can only imagine how amazing the ensemble will look when the wings are unveiled.
