The pitches are back in first poster for Pitch Perfect 3

Awwwwww yyyeaaaaah! Ya’ll ready for some more of that acapella insanity? Get your hands up! Seriously, hands up, I need to get a tally for the books. One…two…three – hands high, please – four…five. Okay, it seems like there are a reasonable amount of you who are indeed excited about the acapella action PITCH PERFECT 3 will surely deliver, and to get the beat going in your chest cavity here is the new poster for the musical romp!

AND here is the plot synopsis:

After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth.  But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.

I maybe would've liked this poster fine if I hadn't seen THE DEFENDERS do the same thing, what with the black and white scheme with the tough looking characters on the front. But this movie doens't need perfect promotion, as it will easily sell itself on name alone. The PITCH PERFECT movies have become an unlikely phenomenon, the two movies making a combined global take of $402 million (off a combined $46 million budget). I enjoyed the first film, finding it had a surprising amount of laughs to match the musical energy. As for the sequel it was…well, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD came out the same time, so all that mental energy was placed elsewhere. As This third movie will have some heavy competition coming out on Christmas, but it will probably be a huge hit with all the people who think covers of pop songs are better than STAR WARS. The positive from that is we will be able to identify those people more easily now, and we can then begin the cleansing…
