2017 Sony Preview

Last Updated on August 3, 2021

Sony still seems to be reeling from the aftershocks of their email scandal a couple of years ago. With the prospect of losing the James Bond franchise to another studio and only two films that crossed the $100 million mark at the box office this year, including the controversial GHOSTBUSTERS and the critically maligned THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE, Sony is hoping that 2017 will be a chance for them to regain some market share on top of their 2016 total of $911 million at the box office. With a couple of reboots, their first SPIDER-MAN movie after partnering with Marvel Studios, and the long in development THE DARK TOWER, this could be a great year for Sony.

Take a look at what Sony has to offer in 2017. Let us know which movies you are looking forward to in the talk backs below.
