New Ralph Breaks the Internet trailer Rickrolls its way online

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The last few trailers for RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET have spent a lot of time pushing the idea there will be plenty of Disney references in the movie, including STAR WARS, Marvel and lots and lots of Disney princesses. But, thankfully, the new trailer for the movie ditched the references and focuses a bit more on the story, which finds Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) scouring the internet for a new wheel for the game Sugar Rush.  Okay, okay, there are at least a few Disney references. They can’t help it!

The new trailer reveals a bit more about the story and what sets them on their journey to the internet and gives a hint about where the story goes after they get there. Some of the funnier scenes will likely feature one or both of them exploring all the internet has to offer, including the mysterious Dark Web. I don’t know much about that side of the internet, nor the people who work in it, but I imagine at least a few of them do indeed have humanoid growths on some parts of their body.

Here is a plot synopsis:

Six years after the events of the first film, the story centers on Wreck-It Ralph's adventures in the Internet data space when a Wi-Fi router gets plugged into the arcade by Mr. Litwak, as he must find a replacement for the broken steering wheel of Sugar Rush. Along the way, Ralph and his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz encounter new customs, worlds, and characters, such as trendy algorithms and the Disney Princess lineup with The Muppets, Star Wars, Disney Animation, Marvel Comics and Pixar characters.

RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET arrives November 21.
