Official poster for Sharknado 4 looks Force-ful and familiar

sharknado 4, sharknado: the 4th awakens,

There is no shame in the game of The Asylum and/or SyFy Network, as the pairing perfectly used today, May 4th (known to geeks everywhere as STAR WARS Day, because of its "May the Fourth be with you" connection), to release the official title and poster for the next entry in their SHARKNADO franchise. With this being the fourth chapter of the saga, it only seems to make sense that they have chosen to capitalize on the renewed enthusiasm and popularity of STAR WARS, by calling their next picture SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS.

I'll give you an A- for effort but a B for pun quality.

With those pieces of information being Force-d our way (get it?), a wide list of cameos that'll be popping up in the coming sequel also surfaced. Stacey Dash has been cast to play the Mayor of Chicago. The roles of Astro-X rocket scientists and astrophysicists will be filled by Cynthia Bailey (THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA)), Robert Herjavec (SHARK TANK), Kym Johnson (DANCING WITH THE STARS), TV host Carrie Keagan, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah (IN LIVING COLOR) and BAYWATCH's Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul

Count Benjy Bronk (THE HOWARD STERN SHOW) in as a morning show host and DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER's Duane Chapman as a chainsaw dealer – because what place doesn't need one of those? Then you've got Rascal Flatt's Jay Marcus and Slipknot's Corey Taylor in the mix, along with MMA fighter Frank Mir. Plus, Motley Crue's Vince Neil, Wayne Newton and CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST's Todd, Savannah and Grayson round out those who get to play themselves.

They're starting to run out of pseudo-celebrities to get involved in these movies, aren't they?

SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS premieres on Syfy on July 31.
