The Fantastic Four will have a month of reshoots in Louisiana

When it rains, it pours. We have heard a lot about THE FANTASTIC FOUR this week, and while none of it is what we want to be sharing (a poster, a trailer, an official image, a synopsis), the Josh Trank directed movie just keeps popping up in the news. Now there is word that the film is going in for reshoots in Louisiana. With an August release date looming, and not a second of footage to be seen, one has to wonder what exactly is going on with this film.

Bleeding Cool reported on the details about reshoots today, and Badass Digest adds that at this point Josh Trank will be the person directing those reshoots. That’s an interesting outcome if the tales of unrest during production between Trank and the crew are to be true. It's said that these reshoots have been planned for over a month which means they have likely been budgeted for and wouldn't have to do with some folks at Fox thinking the movie is a "mess". Matthew Vaughn says "it's good", so that's a good thing right?

At this point, I hope Fox can deliver something other than gossip for the curious movie goers to read about. Let's get a poster and synopsis already!

THE FANTASTIC FOUR is (at this time) set to hit theaters on August 7, 2015.
