TIFF unveils 1st slate of galas and presentations; Magnificent Seven to open

It’s about that time for arguably the world’s most exciting film festival; TIFF! The 41st Toronto International Film Festival kicks off on September 8th and you can bet that our own Chris Bumbray will be in attendance, seeing more movies during the event than you can shake a stick at! The powers that be decided to announce their first slate of galas and special presentations, taking special care to announce that Antoine Fuqua‘s THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN will be opening the event, and that Kelly Fremon’s THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN will be the closing night film.
