Disney is still trying to make that Enchanted sequel

Eight years ago, Disney had a hit on their hands with ENCHANTED, which took many of their fairy tale/princess tropes and put a clever spin on them on the way to box office success. The Mouse had plans on moving forward with a sequel, attaching Anne Fletcher (THE PROPOSAL) to direct, but let's face it... it's 2015 and there hasn't been much movement on this follow-up actually happening....

Last winter Netflix announced that they would be rebooting LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS for the small screen but, aside from an extremely well-made fan teaser for the series, not a heck of a lot of information has emerged, until now. Variety reports that Netflix has hired a director for the series, and it's someone who already has an association with...

Update: It looks as though this was too good to be true, and so it is! Enchanted 2 picks up a couple of new writers and a director

Back in 2007, ENCHANTED aimed to poke fun at countless fairytale movies as well as craft one of its own. It's success was largely due to Amy Adams , who's infectiously optimistic attitude surprisingly matched that of her animated counterparts without coming off as annoying. Sure, she showed off her acting chops in JUNEBUG (check it out if you haven't seen it) and her comedic talents in...

Cool Videos: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland gets an Honest Trailer

With MALEFICENT hitting theaters this weekend, Screen Junkies decided now is a good a time as any to create an Honest Trailer for another live-action re-imagining of a classic animated Disney movie: Tim Burton 's ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Screen Junkies' main issue with ALICE IN WONDERLAND is how it's just more of the same (and not good) from Tim Burton and Johnny Depp...

Timothy Spall featured in trailer for Mike Leigh's Mr. Turner

Timothy Spall is THAT actor.  Not a household name, but everyone's seem him somewhere.  I suppose his most recognizable role would be that of the squirmish Peter Pettigrew (aka Wormtail) from HARRY POTTER, but he's been relegated to a dozen other supporting roles you'd recognize him in (THE LAST SAMURAI, SWEENEY TODD).  Spall is about as reliable as they...

Helena Bonham Carter is back for the Alice in Wonderland sequel

Hello lovely. Helena Bonham Carter is back for the sequel to ALICE IN WONDERLAND. The actress will reprise her role as the Red Queen for the second installment titled THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. One would think that naturally the plot would be similar to that of Lewis Carroll’s 1871 novel of the same name, but at this time those details were being kept under wraps....
