A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 trailer has more terror and violence

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Early last week, Neil Patrick Harris announced that Netflix's A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS will draw to a close after the show's third season. And now, we've got a brand-new trailer for the second chapter of the critically acclaimed dramedy series. That being said, I advise you to proceed with caution, as the trailer contains angry villagers, unwanted elective surgeries, man-eating lions, and moments of pure terror and despair!

For the sophomore season of the fantasy series based on the novels written by Daniel Handler aka Lemony Snicket, Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) and his nefarious acting troupe continue their quest to wipe the Baudelaire children off the face of the earth. Along the way, the kids, Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and Sunny (Presley Smith) are forced to endure a series of unfortunate events as they hide from their evil uncle, and work to uncover a family mystery in the process.

By the close of the second 10-episode season, the Netflix adventure will have adapted books five through nine of the family-friendly series: “The Austere Academy,” “The Ersatz Elevator,” “The Vile Village,” “The Hostile Hospital” and “The Carnivorous Carnival.”

Watch if you dare, and don't say we didn't warn you.

A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS season 2 will make its Netflix debut on March 30th.
