Some poster goodness for you today, as some new one-sheets for director Ang Lee’s LIFE OF PI and the Clint-Eastwood starring TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE have arrived. Both posters do their job of selling their respective stories and look pretty sharp overall.
LIFE OF PI is based on the bestseller by author Yann Martel and follows the story of a boy trapped on a lifeboat with a bengal tiger after his ship sinks. The tale of survival (both literal and metaphoric) debuts at the New York Film Festival next month and goes wide on November 21, 2012.
The Eyes of the Tiger:
TROUBLE WITH CURVE, directed by Robert Lorenz, stars Clint Eastwood as an aging baseball scout who enlists the help of his daughter, played by Amy Adams, for a scouting trip that could make or break his career. The poster fits the story nicely, but the movie doesn’t look quite as compelling as it should. I feel like it’s going to be one tired “old man” cliche after another, but I’d be happy to be proven wrong. TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE hits theaters on September 21, 2012.
