The 5th annual JoBlo.com Halloween Costume Contest is on! That's right, kids, it's time to break out your cosplay best and prepare to submit for our annual photo throwdown and possibly win a great prize to boot!

We love Halloween something crazy here at JoBlo.com, particularly the wild, crazy, cool, creative, sexy, and downright awesome costumes that you all come up with every year, especially the movie-related ones. Every year we're amazed at the entries we receive and, if nothing else, it's just great to see everyone get in the spirit of the spooky season and share their get-ups with the rest of the readers.

There were tons of awesome entries last year (and the year before that and the year before that…) and we hope that those of you going all out will take a few snaps and submit them this year. Check out the full gallery of last year's entries HERE.

How to Participate

You can submit pics from Friday, October 28th through Tuesday, November 1st and then after some serious deliberations (possibly with a Ouija board) we'll decide on a winner and put together a full gallery to share with everyone!

Did you say Prize?

The biggest prize, of course, is having fun and sharing your awesome costumes with fellow readers, but based on all your entries, we'll choose one winner, the best of the best who will be awarded an awesome JoBlo.com-related T-shirt or Bobblehead along with a $100 gift card from Amazon.com. But, that's not all! After we've chose our winner, we’d like your help in choosing the 2 runners-ups, so we will post a gallery of the best of the best of the entries and ask for your help for the 2nd and 3rd prize winners, who will each receive a JoBlo.com Bobblehead or JoBlo.com T-Shirt (your choice!).

All photos MUST be submitted by 9 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 1st. We'll post the winner and all the best entries on Thursday,  November 3rd! We'll be selecting costumes based on originality, design, coolness factor, and overall creativity. We don't need "photoshoot" quality here, just good ol' fashioned digital shots (but, higher res is always appreciated). Also, please include your NAME and E-MAIL with your submitted photo, just in case you're the winner!

With so many new movies and themes to pull from, we're really looking forward to seeing what you guys cook up this year. We have no doubt there will be some truly amazing entries, as always. Let's see if we can top the last three years and make year four the best ever! Happy Halloween!
