There’s no love lost between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in the trailer for Blended

A new trailer for the latest Adam SandlerDrew Barrymore movie BLENDED is here. Wait, weren’t we just talking about this being made? Okay so it was like late July when we talked about the title change from BLENDED to THE FAMILYMOON. I’m glad they threw that out and went with the original title because it sucked.

Does this trailer suck? Um…

“Believe me, Frodo, I don’t like her either.”

Synopsis:

After a disastrous blind date, single parents Lauren and Jim agree on only one thing: they never want to see each other again. But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week in “Blended,” the third comedy collaboration between stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

One of my favorite parts about this and GRANDMA’S BOY was Abdoulaye N’Gom. That guy is hilarious. There’s also Terry Crews in the mix. He’s one of my favorite comedic actors. As for Sandler and Barrymore, I’m glad to see them in another film. I think this definitely looks better than Sandler’s last seven movies. I love the guy but I’m ready for him to move onto something different. I’m thinking that Jason Reitman’s MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN will be a true return for the actor. That said, I did crack a couple of times during the trailer but it didn’t win me over.

BLENDED hits theaters on May 23, 2014.
