Jack and Chloe are back in the Superbowl spot for 24: Live Another Day!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The big game yesterday brought forth many cool movie trailers, but there was one non-movie trailer that deserved some attention here and that was Fox's "Street Chaos" teaser spot for 24: Live Another Day. Reuniting castmembers Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Baeur and Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe, the spot highlights the London setting and, of course, the return of Jack Baeur's rage face, which could potentially go head-to-head with Nicolas Cage's rage face in a very close race. Regardless, this small little peek at the show will most certainly make fans happy and potentially entice new viewers as well.

Get into the chaos:

Here's the synopsis:

The high-octane saga reunites the Emmy Award-winning team of executive producer Howard Gordon; star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland; co-creator Robert Cochran; executive producers Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury and Brian Grazer; and executive producer and director Jon Cassar. Set and shot in London, the suspenseful event series once again will follow the exploits of heroic agent Jack Bauer (Sutherland), as he attempts to thwart an unthinkable terrorist attack that could change the world forever. Retaining the real-time, nail-biting, fast-paced format with split screens and interweaving storylines, the highly-anticipated series also stars Mary Lynn Rajskub ("Firewall"), Kim Raver ("Revolution") and William Devane ("The Dark Knight Rises") reprising their original roles. Newcomers to the drama series include Yvonne Strahovski ("Dexter"), Giles Matthey ("Jobs"), Gbenga Akinnagbe ("The Wire"), Michael Wincott ("The Crow") and Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award winner Judy Davis ("Life with Judy Garland").

I've made no secret about my excitement to see this show back on the air and I'm happy to see it in a new format that doesn't feel so daunting, as they go from the 24-hour/24-episode run to a 12-episode run. How they break down the time frame with the countdown clock with the 24 hour's cut in half is not yet known, but really, it's not a big deal as long as Jack is kicking down doors, blasting bad guys, and never stopping to take a piss. We know what we're there for.

24: Live Another Day will debut a special 2-hour opener on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 8:00 PM ET/PT and will premiere in its time period the following week on Monday, May 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
