The cool peeps over at "Bad Taste" recently got ahold of some new pics of the Daren Aronofsky directed THE WRESTLER, courtesy of the Venice Film Festival where THE WRESTLER will be screening. In it, Mickey Rourke plays the titular washed up professional wrestler trying to mount a come back and, coincidentally enough, a smoking hot stripper in the form of Marisa Tomei. Evan Rachel Wood plays his whip smart daughter. Click through for more pics and for lots more pics from three or four other films.
In related news, the official site is ACTIVE and has what appears to be at least a mock-up of the teaser poster. No release date as yet but we'll be sure to let you know the second it gets one.
