Josh Duhamel, Dax Shepard and Jon Heder have all signed on to star alongside Kristen Bell in the upcoming Disney romantic comedy WHEN IN ROME. Bell will star as Beth, the stereotypical unlucky-in-love girl who travels to Rome and takes a few coins from the Trevi fountain only to find that, through some crazy magical spell, the owners of the coins have fallen head over heels in love with her. Duhamel, Shepard and Heder will play three of the many suitors chasing down Bell. Now I don't know about these guys but I don't think it should take some daggum magic coins to fall head over heels in love with Kristen Bell. This was pretty much all it took for me. Also joining the cast is Angelica Huston who will NOT be playing someone caught under Bell's spell though that would certainly be an interesting twist (she'll just be playing Bell's boss). Mark Steven Johnson, finally frustrated with trying to bring comic adaptations to the screen after DAREDEVIL and GHOST RIDER, will direct the film for Disney. Filming on ROME is expected to begin next month in New York after Bell wraps promotions for FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL.
