Twenty years later, the men are still having trouble with the baby, except this time she's a grown ass woman getting married.

In case you don't remember THREE MEN AND A BABY, or if you were too young to experience this plethora of chest hair, I'll recap for you. The story goes that three friends (Ted Danson, Steve Guttenberg, and Tom Selleck) experience the joy of raising a baby girl after she is left on the doorstep by her Mother (Nancy Travis).

The 1990 follow-up, THREE MEN AND A LITTLE LADY, was more heart wrenching because after raising the girl, her Mother gets a job in England so she takes the girl away. The men have to deal with being without the two girls that made such an impact on their lives. Sweet, huh?

The man, the legend, Steve Guttenberg is breaking his silence on the third installment coming to a theater near you, "Disney's developing Three Men and a Bride. That's going to be a smash. A smash hit. They're bringing everybody back for that. Nobody knows about it. I'm the first to talk about it.” Bitchin'. When I was younger, I really liked both these movies and had a Monica Gellar like crush on Tom Selleck. Yeah, it'll be campy as all hell, but I'd see it.

The Guttenberg is ready to make more sequels for his other movies as well, "It's definitely time for another POLICE ACADEMY. And I think they could make another COCOON. They're surefire hits and I think they're good for the world. They make the world a better place and that's what it's all about." It's also all about watching Ted Danson get high in the HBO series, BORED TO DEATH. I'm really not kidding though, I'll go see this.

Extra Tidbit: Wasn't Nancy Travis hot in SO I MARRIED IN AXE MURDERER? I love that movie.

COOL! I liked these films. If this is good, then it would be good for all the guys careers. I don't think they've been in too much recently. Didn't Tom Sellecks character marry the mother in the sequel? I'd love to see another Police Academy but only if everybody's back. Jones and Bobcats characters were my favorite! Too bad the guy who played Tackleberry had passed away.

There was a sequel to the original French film in 2003, called simply "18 Years Later", which wasn't nearly as good. Hope it won't be the basis. And yeah, the Goot is always good for a laugh...

No, No, No
I'm pretty certain the mom took the kid across the pond because her future husband, Edward, had his residence there. Oh crap - tell me I didn't just write that. I'm such a loser.

I fucking love SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER? Both of these movies were awesome when I was growing up and didn't realize how goddamn campy they were.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I saw both movies a total of one time, and out-of-order. But I do like the idea that basically they're playing out this thing in real time. That is a nifty if [link] idea.

Hold on a second...
The Guttenberg ain't very trustworthy. Dude's been spouting stuff about sequels to his franchise films literally for years -- he was the one who created a lot of those unfounded Police Academy rumours a few years back, and nothing has materialized. He even wrote his own IMDb biography (read it -- it's a fuckin' hoot) wherein he makes himself sound like the next Brando.

Well, if he isn't telling the truth, at least it's good for a laugh. :)
