Two days after being announced as the titular character in the Wachowski Bros. all green screen adaptation of SPEED RACER, Emile Hirsch started the first of 5385 Joel Silver mandated interviews promoting the film. After flail-whipping the marketing department for allowing a whole two days to pass before starting the interview cycle, Silver ensured Christina Ricci was behind a camera kissing some Wachowski ass and emphasizing the ass-kickery to be found in this movie the day her casting was announced as Speed Racer's maddeningly chaste girlfriend Trixie. Extra Tidbit:Trixie flies around in a helicopter during each of Speedy's races and advises him via a radio link to the Mach Five.
