Tyrese Gibson Now that Tyrese Gibson is done escaping the onslaught of giant fucking robots waging their ridiculously cool war on our soil, he's apparently setting his sights on a film that recently broke our hearts. While this surely will do nothing to mend the hurt we're all feeling after learning Jessica Biel will not be donning the golden bustier and star-spangled underwear to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming George Miller directed JUSTICE LEAGUE film, the internets is apparently whispering that Mr. Chocolate Man Candy himself is looking to strap on some black and green spandex to play Green Lantern. Take this with the appropriate quantity of sodium chloride crystals, of course, but feel free to strike back any and all thoughts should there turn out to be some validity to this rumor. Thanks to BMurray for the heads up!

You completely missed the point of what I was saying. And there are people out there who DO want a Black Lightning movie (I've heard talk of them trying to get one off the ground, though very little), just not you or me. Plus the recent incarnation of the JLA has BL and is very popular. But anyhoo, my point was that in a JLA movie, I'd rather see the Jordan GL... that's all.

... no one wants to see a black lighting movie. he would be fine for GL. Though it would be odd, not hearing the voice from the JLA Cartoon.

I understand they always tend to use the John Stewart GL to have a black character, but shouldn't they use Hal Jordan in the JLA movie? I mean, they could always use Black Lightning or, God-forbid, Steel for the token black guy. Not that I have anything against John Stewart's GL, I just would rather see the Jordan GL... not to mention, they could spin Black Lightning off from the JLA movie.
